Deos yogi tea detox help you lose weight?
there are no “miracle” pills/teas/drinks for losing weight. yogi detox tea won’t help you lose weight, nor is it likely an effective detoxifier. supplements and herbals are not regulated by the fda, and thus can make a variety of claims as long as they don’t state the product is intended to diagnose, treat, or cure an illness. barring that, they can say almost anything about their product.
weight loss has been, and always will be, based on a simple formula: calories in, calories out. you need to burn more calories in a day than you consume. with a deficit of 1000 calories/day (which is reasonable), you can expect to lose 2 pounds per week. weight loss any faster than 2-3 pounds per week is not healthy and not manageable long-term. i recommend looking up the harris-benedict equation (or a similar calculation) to determine your basal metabolic rate (i.e., how many calories your body burns in a day) to plan a strategy for weight loss. remember: calories in, calories out.
