How in the world is high gas prices increasing retail sales?
I don’t know about everyone else, but I have LESS money because of gas prices. I have less money to blow on retail.
*The local news reporter * I just seen it on TV and thought it was ridiculous!
Higher gas prices mean it’s more expensive to ship products from A to B. Companies will of course, pass these costs on to the consumer. Thus, higher prices.
