I’m not into sports and it bothers my boyfriend!?

My boyfriend says I need to “broaden my horizons” because I’m not into football and baseball – that he has to get me into sports and teach me how to talk the language.
Personally, sports does nothing for me…I don’t get anything when the team wins and it just doesn’t hold my interest.
I am very passionate about my photography, cooking, scrapbooking and learning about other cultures.
My bf makes it seem like I’m cornering myself in a hole just because I’m not into sports. What can I do when he starts watching the game when we’re on the phone and he tries to get me into it?

I have the same problem lmao. My gf loves football and it is like watching paint dry to me. I feel like it is torture having to watch a bunch of guys in tights chasing a damn ball. Last year at the superbowl she was at her parents having this huge party. Me I was at the gym lifting– hell we didnt even have the superbowl on the tvs there haha I think Worlds Strongest Man was on . The point is everyone is different and if your partner really loves you he will understand not try to change you. No matter how much she wishes I watched sports that will never happen and she understands that. I do go to some of their football parties but just to spend the time with her and I spend more time talking to her dad and her then watching the game. She is always on the couch screaming lmao. I will never understand it
