My Holiday Menu any additions?
I am having a few friends over and I thought it would be nice to have a holiday dinner like my mom used to make.
To start off I figure a bottle of either Boon’s Farm apple wine or a vintage Ripple to loosen things up. I would of course provide Hors d’oeuvres consisting of cheese curls, peanut butter and fried pork rinds.
First course will be Burger King fries and packets of ketsup or mayonase. Followed by a roast of spam (two tins) which will be flavored with cloves stuck into the meat. A side of refried beans, lima beans and chicory “coffee” for desert followed by jello shots!
Am I missing anything, I was going to serve cups of pumpkin pie filling but that would have been the same as Thanksgiving diner.
There’s a couple of squirrels in the road that aren’t ripe yet. Make a great stew. Hurry before the buzzards get them.
