How to remove soy candle wax from wood?
Awhile ago I got these cheap soy tea lights from ikea and two spilled on the top of my mini bookshelf.Well it’s not like normal candle wax, it’s really oily.I can’t seem to get it off with a cleaner so is there any other way I can get it off?
I have heard that a paper bag will absorb the wax if heated.
take a paper bag and peace of wax paper and an iron on low heat
place the paper bag on the stain and the wax paper on top to protect the iron then iron over the stain.
the heat should liquefy the wax and the bag will absorb it. don’t get the iron to hot or you will mar the wood!!!
