“if taking a bath requires litres of water, wont
u clean your inner system with this much”
——————————…
avoid tea and coffee as it takes 6 hours to
digest and is the root of all problems related
with digestion
Tea and coffee contain caffeine, which is a diuretic, and tea also contains tannic acid, which may raise the Ph of your urine enough to help prevent urinary tract infections the same way a daily glass of cranberry juice will.
1.5 liters of water is always a good thing, as the suggested daily intake is eight glasses of water. However, if you drink it from a copper container, you must keep the container clean and free of copper oxide – the green “tarnish” that forms on copper exposed to the air. Not that it is toxic, but it is simply a substance that your body is really not designed to process, and any trace copper you might get from it is not comparable to a good vitamin supplement.
Washing your face and eyes is good advice at any time, but it has no impact on your digestive system except to help keep your body and skin free from infection, but be sure to wash your hands as well.
As to the claim that water will prevent digestive problems and stave off the natural effects of aging by itself alone, there is no medical evidence to support this. It is good for you, and is much better than sugary pop and drinks that promote tooth decay and add carbs to your diet, as water has no carbs to convert to fat. It is also a natural hunger suppressant, keeping you from ingesting extra carbs and fat.
If you really want to help flush your colon to promote better digestion and metabolism, you can use .9% sterile saline water for an occassional enema. Using tap water is generally not safe beyond three enemas, as it is hypotonic, having no salt in solution as opposed to your body tissues, which do. This causes your body to absorb excess water, which can lead to water gain, edema (in extreme cases), and/or water intoxication, a potentially fatal condition. Normal sterile saline (NSS) is not absorbed by the body, and is therefore fully contained in the intestines during an enema, and is mostly all expelled along with waste during evacuation.
