Is it really necessary to have all flatware pieces if they won’t be used?
My wedding is going to be less formal and we are serving tea sandwiches, deviled eggs, salad and bite sized fruit. My fiance and I know that there isn’t a need for knives and spoons, so is it acceptable to just have forks? I am not sure if it looks weird, we just don’t want to pay a lot of extra money for utensils that won’t be used!
Oh definitely you can skip the extra utensils! Having a knife is spoon is not going to make the party more fun, or more comfortable, for your guests. Spend that money on something that really matters… like the food, drink, cake, etc!
