loose tea leafs, making it?
Ok, So I’m totally new at this whole tea thing, i think it’s a new hobby to be intrested in since it is becoming more and more popular.
So here’s what i have, a mug and a tea ball strainer, how do i go about making the tea? how long do i leave the tea in the water? how much do i put in? what do i do with the tea leafs after i’m done making it?
please give me details, i really appreciate it! Thanks!
Put about a 1/2 tsp of leaves in the ball. Get your water boiling. Pour the cup full of water and let it heat up the cup. Pour out the water and add new hot water to the cup and place the ball of tea in. Place a cover over the cup and let it steep for about 5 minutes. Remove the ball with the tea. If you kept it covered it should still be quite warm. There are black teas, green teas, flower teas and herbal teas to name a few. You can drink them neet.(with out milk or sugar). or add either or both. You can add more or less leaves to the ball as you develop you taste. You can sometimes reuse the tea leaves. Or you can add a few new ones to the batch or just add all new ones as you see fit.
Get some double Devon-shire cream, spread it on a muffin add some strawberry jam and you’ll see why the Brits keep the secret of tea to themselves. In no time at all you’ll be picking up a tea set to really learn to enjoy making an serving a spot of tea on a daily basis.
