How do you find the value?
I recently found a glass medicine spoon from Duffy Malt Whiskey Company of Rochester, NY. I had thought to use it as a tea bag holder but thought I’d check it out online before I did so. Can find info that says it would have been made near the turn of the century but can’t seem to find anything more. The only real info I found so far was from a listing on e-bay…but that was for another brand of spoon. Anyone know anything about this type of item…know where I could get info on it & whether it would be worth anything or not? Mostly just curious but hate to use something randomly if it has a value to it.
I think it would have some value to collectors. A good way to check it out would be to take it to an auctioneer, an antique dealer or to a pawn shop and have them look at it and tell you what they think. They might also be able to tell you how to find out more about it.
