Can I make sun tea in a plastic container?

It has a tap, and a top cover. How do they do? I have the size of some of Lipton tea bags family.

I make sun tea almost daily. Fill your jar, place 3 or 4 family sized tea bags in it. Place lid and put it in the sun. The time required may depend on how hot is the sun. Just keep control of it until you know how long it takes. Crazy, but true. I've been forgetting to put my cup in the morning, so I put out last night and before leaving work, have it inspected. It did! moon tea tastes as good as tea sun! That might not work everywhere, but here in southern Louisiana, which is hot all night. Enjoy
