How do I repair a chipped enamel tea kettle?
I’m a little hair-brained and left my Paula Deen enamel tea kettle on the stove, letting all the water evaporate (there is no whistler on the kettle). I pulled the kettle off, and some of the beautiful green enamel came along with it. Now, it just keeps chipping off the bottom. I don’t want it to chip all the way to the side where you can see it.
Is there any kind of clear sealer that will stop the progression of these chips? My dad got me this tea kettle because I did the same thing to my last one. I really like this one… HELP!
Your not hair brained. People who are busy with life forget stuff sometimes.
You might try getting a Paula Deen help line.
Next I’d try taking the pot to a box store like Lowe’s or Home Depot. I know there’s a product that will match chipped sink enamel so if your real lucky maybe you can find a match.
