Any new good books released?
Preferably something with at least a bit of romance. Not too heavy fantasy like The Lord of The Rings.
Some that I love:
-The Time Traveler’s Wife
-The Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
-The Tea Rose by Jennifer Donnelly
-The Princess Bride by William Goldman
-Dan Brown’s books
I don’t like Ken Follett’s Pillar’s of The Earth (tedious architectural descriptions), Stephen King, and Mitch Albom (too boring for me).
Preferably NOT some young-adult vampire books that are all the rage nowadays. Sorry if I’m too picky
I love the Time Travelers wife too!
so here are some other books I liked that maybe you will enjoy
Good in Bed- Jeniffer Weiner (this is not just about sex the title is the title of a magazine article the main character reads in the book)
In the Time of the Butterflies- Julia Alvarez
Playing for Pizza- John Grisham (this is not a murder mystery fyi)
Life of Pi-Yann Martel
Secret Life of Bees- Sue Monk Kidd
Water for Elephants- Sara Gruen
Snow Flower and the Secret Fan- Lisa See
Hope this helps!
