“Seeping” tea?

You’re supposed to let your tea bag “seep” in the water for 4-6 minutes. But what exactly does “seep” mean?

Do I just let it sit there? Do I press a spoon up against it every once in a while?

steeping the tea helps to bring out the beneficial antioxidents and added “benefits” if you will of the tea. It is best to add boiling hot water to a cup you can add the tea bag first then pour the boiling water over it and place a top on the cup..i use a small serving plate to cover the cup. this helps to keep in all the moisture and you wont’ lose any extra added benefits.

once steeped you can take out the tea bag, press it on the side of a spoon or the cup and throw it out. add your favorite add-in maybe honey or lemon or lime
