What can I substitute for a pastry cloth?
I am making strudel for the first time, and I can’t go to the store to get a tea towel or pastry cloth to roll the dough out on.
However, I DO have:
plastic wrap
aluminum foil
butter muslin (high quality, fine weave cheese cloth)
cloth napkins
Perhaps I could even use regular white paper?
I have used a regular hand towel……….
