How do I make perfect Iced Tea?

I like it sweet…I have one of those iced tea makers but I dont like it

I’m sorry if this is repeat advice, because to be honest I didn’t read all the other answers….

I work in a tea store, and the best way to brew good iced tea, is to not use all those fancy methods of overbrewing the tea, adding ice, using twice as many tea bags/leaves….

The best way is to brew your tea exactly how you’d like it hot, maybe only slightly stronger (like one extra teaspoon of loose leaf tea for a four cup teapot..meaning five instead of four teaspoons) Allow the tea to brew for the correct time for that type of tea (3 minutes for green,3-5 for most oolongs, 5 for black, 7-10 for herbals/teasans/rooibos)

Sweeten as desired, and add lemon as desired, then Chill in the fridge.

After its chilled serve in a glass with ice.

Thats how we do it at the tea shop. Consistant results everytime…..

I really reccomend a Lemon Flavoured Green Rooibos, and if you can come across flavorued sugars using Lemon Flavoured Sugar…. Soo tasty.
