I burned my mother Le Creuset kettle, and it is burned, how do I get rid of it?!?

Heat water to a boil over low heat and add a little salt. Scrub. Vinegar is excellent metal cleaning and may be useful here. Baking soda is a good cleaner but do not use vinegar. Keep them separate.
