Is it true you can get build up from your shampoo?
I have been using Herbal Essences new shampooes, such as Body Invy, Hello Hydration Moisturizer, and the Green Tea Cleanser. I have notice that my hair it getting to feel limp and lifeless, but I thought the cleanser shampoo is suppose to help protect against build up. I have very thick brown hair. Bottom line, if there is a build up going on, is there any good shampoo I could use that is affordable? Also, I don’t put any hairspray or gels in my hair. I pretty much blow dry and go. And, I have shoulder length hair. Ok, that’s all I got. Thanks!!
Yes, you can get a build up. How do I know? I have been there! If you want to restore your hair, go to a hair supply store, I use Sally’s (don’t know where you live so I can’t give a deffinite store) and buy what’s called ‘stripping shampoo’. It’s not that expensive, and it works great. You can use your same shampoos just once a week use the stripping shampoo then condition as normal. It helps stabilize your hair, and works great! I really hope that helps!!!
