Homemade laundry detergent? Any body in? Does it work?
This is the recipe I have Cups – hot tap water a soap Nafta Fels-1 cup – Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda ½ cup borax * … More – Bar Grill soap and add to pan with water. Stir constantly over medium-low heat until the soap is dissolved and melted. -Fill half a bucket of 5 gallons of hot tap water. Add melted soap, soda and borax. Stir well to dissolve dust completely. Fill bucket to top with more hot water. Stir, cover and let sit overnight to thicken. -Mix and fill a used, clean, soap dispenser complete medium for clothing with soap and then fill the rest of the way with water. Shake well before each use. (The gel)-Optional: can add 10 to 15 drops of essential oil per 2 gallons. Add once soap has cooled. Ideas: lavender, rosemary oil, tea tree. Any body ever made your own? I have 2 children who do their mission in life to get dirty, homemade is the work material, as well as store bought?
We use the same recipe, and it works great. I think it depends the washing machine too, because now we have a new little group is not as if he were with our old washing machine …
