Every time i think of leaving my boyfriend why do i keep thinking of reasons not to leave him yet?

I have been with him over 2 years now he is abusive about an hour ago we had an arguement cause i told him i dont like the clothes that he was wearing i told him i think that look feral & then he just walked off & said ”dont f.ucking talk to me” & then went & layed in our bed for about an hour straight & we didnt talk he was laying in bed & i was in the kitchen sitting on a chair just thinking & then he must of decided to come out so he walked out & chucked all his tea in the bin & then slammed the bin lid back down & then walked past the computer & just punched the monitor so hard it feel on the floor & made a loud noise when he done that i jumped & cringed up cause he done that i got scared & jumped & then he walked off & then i just bulled my eyes out & my mind automatically thought ”what am i doing, I truely need to get the f.uck away from this abusive loser” But the thing is everytime i want to leave i think of reasons why i cant yet like bills – i have a little boy to him?

You sound like you’re in England, so I’m not sure what resources they have there, but my guess is that there are shelters around that can help. You could call and at least chat with them to see if they have ideas about how to get out if you want to.

Think about your son – what do you want him to grow up around?

If you do get out, go back to school and get a good job so you can take care of things. Don’t ever depend on anyone else to “take care of you.” It gives them too much control over you.
