Where I can find someone to perform a Japanese tea ceremony?
Hi, I'm from Elyria, Ohio (near Cleveland) and I am in charge an older group of Girl Scouts at a camp. This year's theme is international and one of the requirements is to perform a Japanese tea ceremony. Since nobody has experience in this area that I wanted to have someone come and perform / show us how. Does anyone know where I can find a person?
You could try the Japanese exchange students – maybe make a phone call to a college near you? Can also be ordered at a restaurant Japanese. Maybe contact your local Rotary Club and ask if they have students who have returned from exchange to Japan. Students may have studied Japanese ceremony tea during their exchange year. The art of Japanese tea ceremony requires years to perfect, so if you want an authentic tea ceremony, such After going to a Japanese citizen who is older. Good luck!
