Can I use a chamomile tea bag to make my steam facials better?
I steamed my face last week and I’m very happy with the results. I just boiled a full pot of water, poured it into a large bowl, draped a towel over my head and sat down for 10 minutes. I’m wondering how adding a few chamomile tea bags will affect it.
Chamomile tea will not hurt you in any way, unless you’re allergic to things like ragweed or goldenrod. Mint also makes a nice facial steam, as does eucalyptus or lavendar or rose. The eucalyptus and lavendar will open up your sinuses and help clear any catarrh or mucous or blockages they may contain. All will help to clear problem skin. If you have very delicate or sensitive skin, still w/ things like chamomile, linden, oat, cucumber, melon or rose as these are very gentle.
