Does black tea have any health benefits for track runners?
Our Track and Field season is starting this coming Monday, and I wanted to know if black tea has any health benefits for athletes involved in Track. I have asthma and seriously major epic nasal congestion that never seems to go away on it’s own. Can anyone help with that either?

Black tea has a higher content of caffeine than other teas, which means a greater boost of energy. But this doesn’t mean you should overdo it.
Asthma and the sort can be helped with some herbal teas, but since you want to be or are a track runner, you should see a doctor for a solution and to be followed in your treatment.
