How would I decorate my room to look like a coffee shop or cafe?
I get to redo my room this summer and Im really big into the coffee shop scenery! Im a big theatre person so something that relates to that. I want something sleek and relaxing. Lots of candles. but im having trouble coming up with a decor. Walls I was thinking maybe a turquoise ish color or a dark pink. Something thats still feminine looking. If you guys have any ideas for furniture colors/wall colors/bed spread/ furniture in general! That would be awesome! Thanks so much!
Well, I am a guy and if I wanted to go with a coffee shop theme, I would first visit a antique shop to look for a cool little retro bistro table w/chairs, something with a tiled top(colorful), then I would buy some paint(Art paints) and paint the interior of the coffee shop on the walls so it looks three dimentional, like bookcases, window with cafe’ curtains (Something that matches the ones you purchase of course for your real window/s) . You could paint the background a neutral color, like light tope. Buy some retro advertisement signs to hang on the room walls, and if you have bare floors, buy some cool small area rugs. I guess you just have to use your imagination, or even visit some coffee shops for inspiration….Good luck, and I hope I helped some!
