If i steep multiple tea bags in one cup of water will I receive the same antioxidant benefits?
ok so I heard tea is LOADED with antioxidants, which is cool. The only thing is, I don’t have time to drink three-five cups of tea a day – i really don’t. What I have been doing is steeping four tea bags at a time in a half cup of water and then pouring it into a water bottle and diluting it with ice. I don’t know much about tea so I was just wondering if I will receive the same antioxidant benefits doing this as i would if i were to drink four seperate cups of tea.
Many vitamins and minerals are water soluble so whatever the amount that your body doesn’t need you will flush out. If you are drinking some type of herbal or natural tea that has those types of ingredients it may not make a difference how much you intake.
