To how I remove the smell in the rubber part of plastic tumblers?
I have a plastic tumbler I purchased from Starbucks. Sometime coffee would be left stale in the tumbler. I’ve tried using dishwashibng liquid and warm water to wash the tumbler but the malodor comes back.
Try using baking soda in the tumbler. Pour good old Arm & Hammer baking soda into the tumbler, add water & swirl around. Pour out & rinse completely.
Use about 4 Tbsps baking soda & 1/3 cup water. Hot, warm or cold will work.
Repeat if the odor lingers.
Bring in a Tumbler 365 days a year, save 10ยข a day and 365 paper cups.
