I need to buy a teapot for cheap!?
I need to buy a teapot that is nice quality for cheap. I am not a tea conaseur. I don’t really know what is the best kind. Stainless steel, copper, etc. I will mainly use it to boil water for other things. So, I just need something that looks nice. But is still functional. I want one that the handle doesn’t get so hot that I have to wear an oven mit when pouring.
What is the best material for a teapot?
What are the advantages of one material over another?
Which kind won’t burn my hand when I pick it up?

I agree-Wal-mart or Target, but make sure that it suits your purpose. Take it out of the package and actually pretend to pour water out of it-is the spout so close to the handle that the steam will burn you? I found the one with a lid situated under the handle seemed to let steam escape-I like an enclosed kettle that you fill from the spout-a little bit harder but less likely to burn you. I also like the type that whistle when it is ready as I am a bit absent minded and don’t want to set the house on fire.
