Youth Football – Special Teams?
This is for all who have ever been involved in youth soccer, especially in the Team-A (12-13 years). What are some methods you that've been successfully used on special teams, such as blocking extra points, kick returns, etc.
I won many championships in youth football. I never really tried to block an extra point. if the child could kick it, he did. I ran only players to keep the center edge and covered {rule} youth football wing attack me, if the wing to go out, my broker slipped edge within it and have a chance. but rarely their get. I never put my best player on the edge because he supported for the offensive. punt return was a time for after the punter. no need to sit, as rarely a good punt to return the boy of my punt, even backwards. always have good field position, so do not even have a new player. I keep hunters inside and block it.
