Extreme weight loss…Should I worry?
When I was a kid I used to be slim, when I became teenager I gain lots of weight, till six months ago I was 150 pounds and now I am 100 ( my height is 1,63 cm).
I haven’t done diet and I haven’t start exercise, in overall I dislike exercise and I never was following a diet. I eat slow and only till I understand I am not hungry, and my menu has homemade food and rarely junk food. Also I drink 3 liters of water and 1 liter of coffee, I wasn’t drinking so much coffee nor water, but after a while I start drinking more and more, I eat normally as I always used too. I used to wear size 32 (in diesel jeans) and now I am on 26…
I never understood I was losing weight unless I saw myself in mirror or understood my clothes were too big…everyone around me tells me that I lost enough and I have to stop, whoever hasn’t see me in months and sees me like that tells me I have a health problem but I feel better than ever…
Should I start worrying??? :/
I would pay some more attention to it for the next couple of weeks, but worry, as in panic, I would say no.
When I was 14 I weighed 124 lbs, and was 5 ft. But within a year, without trying, I lost 22 lbs and grew 2 inches. My doctor said it was because I was growing plus the fact that I am young so my weight will naturally vary. About 7 months ago I got really sick (with the flu or something I don’t know it was weird) And I dropped down to about 91 lbs.
I would say if you keep losing weight like you have the past six months (like get below 95 lbs) then go see a doctor.
It probably was a change in diet (you said you drank lots of water) you grew (did you notice a change in your height?) or maybe it was just a freak thing like it was with me
