The best way to make coffee?

I've been reading all about making coffee. I have a Keurig single cup. It's pretty good, but I'm looking for I was looking for something better.I grinding my own coffee and use a French press. I'm also looking at the regular coffee. Not sure what to choose. I am also looking for the effectiveness of the time (if I have to rush in the morning) would also be a French press will be better and more power quickest way to then boil the water? What is your opinion on a single beer cup of coffee?
