Hot tips for removing coffee stains from white cotton knit shirt?
My Mom is in a care facility where, sadly, spills are a daily occurrence. I thought I had become the “Goddess of Stain Removal”. This time, during an outing, I bought gourmet decaf to go and this spill was on my watch.
I started with a name brand spray-on stain remover, left it overnight then washed the shirt in the AM .The stains were still about 50% visible.I spent the next day trying everything in my arsenal and every trick I’ve been taught.I’m obsessing over the faint stains still there.
I know there are millions of you coffee drinkers who end up with the gamut from a single drip to full cup of coffee on a 100% cotton shirt/T-shirt/camisole/tank on the way to work and can’t do anything to wash it until hours later.
What should I have done?? Please “spill” your secrets!
