How can I drink coffee without getting an upset stomach?

I love the taste of coffee, but I cant drink it without my digestive system going into chaos a couple hours later (ie, I get the shits…) Its not an effect from the caffeine, because I can drink caffeinated sodas and teas just fine, and decaf coffee actually wreaks more havoc on my stomach than regular roast. I know that if I drank coffee daily my stomach would eventually get used to it, but I’d prefer to avoid the caffeine addiction. I want to just be able to drink a latte once a week or so. Is there something I can take/do to help with this?
