How can you remove built up coffee grounds from filter?

I have a reusable filter on my coffee maker. Over time, the coffee grounds have worked there ways into almost all of the filter holes. Is there something I can soak it in to get rid of them?

I would suggest a baby bottle brush (specifically the nipple brush) if you have one, if not a pipe cleaner or toothbrush. or maybe soaking it in bleach? then rinsing it out very well with your sprayer head on your sink or a bathroom showerhead if you have one that has the diff. massager speeds so you can use the pressure.
