I have the day of the wedding, a Valentine's Day, my colors are red and black, my flowers are pink, and I'm willing to be very elegant and romantic. I found these cute shades lamp is placed on top of glasses of wine and put a candle tealight in the wine glass and it looks like a small lamp. They are very cute .. See here: http://www.save-on-crafts.com/luminarias1.html planned on using them as centers 4-5 table with candles around it and rose petals scattered on the table. However, I began to wonder if these would be too small considering it's size a glass of wine. Would this look good or not? Oh, and I will be with 8 'round tables. I'll use candles without smoke, no dripping.
I think that would be enough with maybe 3 or 4 around the center with candles and flower petals. I suggest getting different size wine glasses to sit on .. perhaps too high, and one of size medium and smaller. Also .. ensure they are of good quality .. I worry that you are as paper is removed elegance you are trying to create. I know selling on-line glass (if they are not). Good luck!
