Critique my poem: the past tense?

its fine I guess. have to pay more attention to "stanza 'And I'm sorry, but it's too cliché. " I feel like not talking about something meaningful or minorly related to past tense, but instead of talking only of leaves or whatever. poetry is about communicating emotions and do not feel like I've done. try to think about what you write and communicate what feels a bit more reader.
