What are some foreign words that mean something funny in your language? funniest answer gets 10 points!?
today, i was driving along the high way, i saw a billboard for a perfume ad,
the perfume is : TEASE by paris hilton
while the word TEASE in my language means “a-s-s”
so it was really funny just imagining getting to the perfume store and asking the lady : do you have TEASE paris hilton? can i smell it ( do u have paris hilton’s a-s-s? can i smell it? LOL
or the fact that my friend’s name is “rana” and rana means frog in spanish (yes, we went to spain this summer, and we claimed her name was “chloe” there
)
SO WHAT ARE SOME FOREIGN WORDS THAT MEAN SOMETHING ELSE IN YOUR LANGUAGE?
I once spoke with an Australian, and said something about falling on my fanny….he thought it was extremely hilarious because while fanny here in the US means your butt, in Australia it means a womans girly parts. Something akin to the word cvnt.
