Beignets and Cafe au lait (ala New Orleans style) in San Francisco?
Can it be had? Coffee w/Chickory mellowed by white-hot steamed milk and those lucious fat-balls touched with powdered sugar?
I’m not expecting Cafe du Monde here, but one can hope, right?!?!?
I don’t know about San Francisco, but in San Jose you can get Beignets at the Poor House Bistro. It is not even a block from the HP pavillion. They specifically serve that type of cuisine.
