Am I using the right tea tree oil?
I bought tea tree oil today at whole foods. It says Aura Cacia’s Organics “Pure Aromatherapy” than it says Tea Tree Cleansing certified essential oil. I was told I can use tea tree oil on my tragus piercing for multiple good reasons. But I was concerned about it saying aromatherapy…is it still ok to use on my piercing?
Yes. It is safe to use. Most oils say that they are for aromatherapy purposes because the FDA and AMA will not allow the natural oil companies to make actual medical claims on their products.
