I dreamed of an overflowing coffee pot….?
The machine was making the coffee really quickly. I had 3 or 4 of those glass carafes that you see used in restaurants. I was switching from one to the other to catch the coffee. I grabbed the “decaf” carafe with the orange spout and handle, and had a breif thought about how I wasn’t doing things right, because I hadn’t made decaf, but I quickly decided that the situation was urgent, so this did not matter. I was getting to the last avaialbe carafe, yet I had a sense that the machine was also about to finish the brewing cycle.
What do you make of this dream?
Making coffee = task, responsibilities
You may be in a situation that you feel responsible for. Overflowing coffee pot could symbolizes urge to responsible for things in life. In your case, you may be impatient person, but very responsible for things you should do. However, due to the fact that you have no help, you take all the tasks by yourself. That may show some stress from your daily life. In other sense, overflowing coffee could show how stressful you are, but somehow you subconsciously feel you should be the one who is doing it because in reality, you see no help and need no help. You wanted to show your capabilities in some way.
