Did the tea party ever think of being a real tea party?

I hear that the new tea party is about taxes but low information. Well the original tea party was about a tax brake for a large corporation. The British multinational East Indies company was getting a corporate (the same kind that Republicans support) tax brake on their tea and the American tea sellers could not compete so yes it was about the Americans being taxes more. So when I first heard about the tea party I was like, alright we are going to get our industrial might back, I am down lets block some ports and throw some oversea containers in the harbor. But now all I see is a bunch of fading generations with their dated ways and old fears and everything that is being done by Bush and Obama is not making them feel any better. What a shame,they could of been great.

I agree. I think that the tea partiers are hoping to re-take Washington in this years midterm elections but it would have been a lot more exciting if they had taken some real action.
