The Dunker’s Mug !
The Dunker’s mug reduces the dripping of tea / coffee from biscuits / donuts after they are dunked.
It also reduces the likelihood of the biscuit or donut breaking off.
No more stained clothes!
No more mess on your expensive furniture!
No more mess on your desktop, PC or important work documents!!
How it Works.
The mug has a small ledge built within or on the rim of the mug.
The user would dunk their biscuit / donut as usual in the mug and then temporarily hold it on the ledge for a few seconds, which allows some tea / coffee to drain back into the mug.
Once the biscuit / donut has stopped dripping sufficiently and is less soggy the user would then simply eat it as normal without any mess or broken biscuit / donut. Simple!!
There is an old saying about there being nothing new under the sun – which whilst obviously not being accurate, does in fact apply to your ‘new’ invention! What you think that you have invented has been around for over 100 years! It was quite popular in Victorian days and was called a moustache cup. The ledge you propose was used to keep the drinkers moustache out of the tea, most men in those days sported facial hair.
