Mr Coffee TM75 Iced Tea Maker leaks all over the counter. Why?
Just got the newer model Iced Tea Maker and it leaks all over the counter. It just runs down the front of the tea maker. About 2/3rd make it into the pitcher and 1/3 on the counter.
Ever Ice Tea maker I’ve owned has leaked a little, but this is rediculous!
I’ve tried with the pitcher all the way against it, lid on and off, level on the counter, propped up various ways, etc… Everytime it dribbles down the front of the tea maker frequently.
I had the same problem, although mine lasted a few months before it happened.
The pitcher is made from 2 pieces of plastic fused down the middle through the spout & handle. The seam in the spout tends to separate and the tea leaks through as it pours in.
It happened so often & cost so much in pitchers, I gave up using Mr. Coffee & now make them with loose tea without a machine & I find I like it better.
