What would go good with my olive green couch?
I recently purchased an olive green living room set, the end tables and coffee tables are glass topped with a deep brown steel legging. Now the fun part is pairing this set with lamps (table and floor) drapes, an area rug with some throw pillows. The walls in my house are white (renting a place where you have pay to paint) as well as the carpet. I don’t necessarily want it too look matchy-matchy but would like a nice modern (hence the glass table tops) look that flows.
What should I look for in lamps? Colors, design etc etc…
What colors should I use (it’s an olive green couch)?
Any suggestions or ideas would be most helpful and very welcome.

Burgundy and any of the off-whites, or tans, are nice complementaries for Olive, and simple white or Ecru for the window dressing will keep the room bright without overpowering it. Try a nice throw over the back of the couch to break up the largest of the couches/chairs.
