(The sphincter is the muscle that separates the esophagus from the stomach.) By relaxing the sphincter, peppermint may actually make the symptoms of heartburn and indigestion worse.
I always do research of things im going to put into my body. Even though its natural and has got health benefits it can upset any medications that a person might be on.
