How to fix Sticky Buttons after coffee sloshed on them in Cooper Mini?

The unstable cupholder in my ’06 Cooper Mini resulted in my coffee splashing the air conditioning buttons. Now when I press them, the stick. What is the safest way to clean this? Does Isopropyl harm plastic? The dealer said the full console would have to be replaced at my cost.. (can’t take the buttons out individually.) Please Help!!!

Litely spray some cleaner around them, and thus it loosens the coffee and should work fine afterwards.
