my dad bought a tea set …?
My dad bought a tea set at the flea market and I haven’t been able to figure out where it came from or how much it’s worth. He would like some information on the set and my searches have come up empty. It’s a five piece set with saucers; they have flowers on the outside, gold rim on the top and on the handle and on the bottom is a crown with a M or W type symbol and the words “Japan.” I have included some (rather large, sorry) pictures. Sorry they’re not very clear. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

When it doubt, check china pattern replacement sites. Places like China Chasers have an obscene number of discontinued china patterns for people who only need to replace a few pieces. Alternately, you can keep checking e-Bay to see when something similar comes up.
