Pictures – does this area rug look good?
Just bought an area rug, and I can’t decide if it looks good. The area is small – and I get the feeling that it closes it in even more. But it also looks bare if there isn’t something there…what do you think?
Any advice would be wonderful!
(Also, your take on the coffee table? Should it be gone or a different one or is that one ok?)

**The walls are a light sage-y green with white trim, the wood floor is very light, and goes throughout the bottom floor (kitchen, dining, and living room)**
It looks somewhat better with the rug but it would be better with a plusher and more colorful rug. That one is kind of dull and looks like it belongs on a porch rather than in a living room. The room is too monochromatic and does not look welcoming. It needs more color.
