Keurig coffee too strong!?

I received a Keurig for Christmas. I followed all of the directions to set it up, and cleaned it. However, every single thing I brew is way too strong. I can’t even drink the teas. They taste exactly the same as the extrabold coffee.
Please help. I’m pretty sure that there’s a way to make the cups lighter, but I have no idea.

My Keurig has 2 settings a small cup and a larger cup.. The pod size stays the same which results in a stronger small cup or a regular large cup. Brew the larger size cup and it should not be as strong.
