Suharto dies, millions of Indonesians mourn?

Former Indonesian president of 32 years, Haji Mohamed Suharto passed away age 86 following multiple organ failure.
He is interred with full military honours in the Royal cemetery complex of Giribangun, in Central Java.
The Indonesian government announced one week of official mourning and all charges against his estate immediately and permanently dropped.
Many thousands choked streets in both Jakarta and Solo city to pay respects to a brave revolutionary Indonesian hero akin to Wellington or Washington and a man of considerable intellect.
The bulk of Indonesians care little for his alleged human rights abuses and instead remember him for lifting them and their nation out of poverty.
The overwhelming bulk of Indonesians also miss his authoritarian leadership where religious, ethnic and civil strife was almost non-existent and the nation was the fastest growing economy of the region.

May he rot in hell for his crimes. Are you an idiot or just plain ignorant for overlooking the ethnic cleansing instigated by Suharto against the Chinese and other Indonesians in the sixties? ‘Civil strife non-existent’, my foot! ‘Fastest growing economy’, you show your ignorance. Compared to the other ASEAN nations, it is still a basket case.

Obviously you are a person oblivious to morality. Your words show that you like to call ‘white’ ‘black’, and vice versa. Suharto, his family and his cronies are a bunch of crooks and cynical murderers. In Nazi Germany, you would have been a member of the SS, and called Hitler a hero. That’s what you are – a quisling, betraying the decency of the human race and licking the boots of dictators. No doubt you must have benefited from Suharto’s corrupt reign to do a whitewash on his image. Some back-hander in the form of lucrative contracts?
