How long can I store coffee powder for?
I recently bought a large jar of coffee powder but only used some, and I want to store it for 3 months until my next function. Will it taste as good? Should I freeze it, maybe? Thanks very much, Alison
definitely freeze it, put it in a tight sealed plastic bag and freeze it… it wont be good as the beans which last a lot longer but it should be fine, the reason people don’t keep the ground coffee around for long is because it does get stale.
maybe next time get the beans and a grinder (theyre pretty cheap) and you can grind the beans fresh, i do this every morning makes a very nice fresh cup of jo!
