Bought an expensive Japanese tea pot, but it cracked when I brewed tea?
I bought an expensive Japanese tea pot, paid around $280 for it and when I put it on the burner to hear some water to make some tea, it cracked? Why don’t they make them out of good quality material so they won’t crack?
Yes, don’t put porcelain or glass on burners. My mom did that once with a green bean casserole in a glass pan. She set it down on the stove without realizing the burner was on, and the glass pan completely shattered. Actually, it really exploded. O_O
Someone else suggested that your teapot would still make a good flower pot, and I agree. It could also make a nice storage container or even a candy pot. :3
(or even a pot pot, if you know what I mean) ;D
